On Thursday, February 23rd at 4:00pm ET we will be joined by Bruce Sandy, UAS Program Manager with Pender County Fire & EMS. Bruce will be discussing the negative impact winds have on the performance and flight time of a UAS, specifically the M200 series drone. During an off-shore training exercise Pender County pilots had a drone go down in the ocean after high winds depleted the UAS batteries before reaching its recovery point on land.
